Vibrato Nero is a new Sospiro fragrance for 2026, created by perfumer Christian Provenzano. It keeps the bright citrus and ginger direction associated with Vibrato, but introduces a darker and richer combination of leather, rhubarb, powdered sugar, vanilla, benzoin and amber.
On paper, it looks like a warmer and deeper take on the Vibrato idea, while still keeping that fresh citrus opening at the centre of the composition.
An exact release date has not been confirmed yet. More details will be added as they become officially available.
Vibrato Nero opens with bergamot, mandarin, grapefruit and ginger, before moving into a more unusual heart of magnolia, leather, rhubarb and powdered sugar. The base brings sandalwood, patchouli and benzoin together with vanilla, musk and amber.
Compared with the original Vibrato, the note structure suggests something darker, warmer and more textured, particularly through the leather, resins and vanilla in the heart and base. Until I smell it, though, I would not assume it is simply a stronger or darker version of the original.
After the massive success of the original Vibrato, my expectations are high for Vibrato Nero. Vibrato became one of the fragrances that really pushed Sospiro into the spotlight, so I am very curious to see what they do with this new direction.
